Teaching Vacancies at Wynstones – Oct 2019

Wynstones School is a Steiner Waldorf School on a beautiful 11 acre campus in the Gloucestershire countryside. We are within commuting distance of Worcester, Stroud, Cheltenham and Bristol. We follow the Waldorf curriculum, providing all-round education for children aged 3 to 18 years. It’s a great time to join us and develop an education that focuses on the needs of the developing human being. We offer GCSE, A Levels and EPQ in our Upper School.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Kindergarten Assistant for our Kindergarten. You will work with the teachers and children, and will report to the Kindergarten Lead. Candidates should ideally be at least Level 3 trained. 3 mornings and 1 day.


Full Time Whole School SENDCo (Kindergarten to Class 12) 1.0fte

With management time allowance.


Full Time Learning Support Teacher

Working with groups and individuals across Lower and Middle School.


Part Time Upper School (including GCSE / A Level) History / Humanities teacher 0.6fte

Teaching Main Lesson History, with some Geography, GCSE History and A Level History.


Part Time Maths Teacher 0.8fte

Teaching Classes 1 to 8 (KS1, 2 and 3)


Part Time A Level Philosophy Teacher 0.2fte – one year fixed term


Teaching posts - salary £21,500 to £24,440 pro rata depending on experience.

TA posts – salary £14,650 pro rata.

All posts - attractive tuition fee discount, pension scheme and commitment to CPD.

Candidates will need to demonstrate a flexible, positive attitude to work with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to contribute to the life of the school, attending meetings, providing pastoral care and taking on additional responsibilities as required.
